Summary

It is sometimes difficult to find bibliographic data on a website.

  • The title may be displayed in the top bar of the browser.
  • Publication dates may be at the very bottom of the page.
  • The Home or About Us links often provide author/creator information. Logos are also clues for organisation names. A copyright notice (indicated by the © copyright symbol) will also usually give the name of the organisation.

A website usually does not have an entry in a bibliography. However if referred to many times, or if important to your argument, a website citation may be included in your bibliography.
